Netskope – Site Reliability Engineer

• Architected & implemented intelligent monitoring microservices to collect up to 100 real-time metrics from ~1M agents in order to improve visibility into application performance

• Microservices included authentication, ingestion, and metrics management. Architecture design resembled a botnet where a microservice managed each agent’s reporting, including frequency and throttling

• Coordinated across multiple teams to gather requirements and understand different needs and limitations

• Technologies used: Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, Helm, Artifactory, Python

Havalo – Software Engineer

• Havalo is a student information system that stores and analyzes student and school data

• Developed several core features to make the product more competitive, including major portions of attendance and discipline modules

• Helped with the prioritization of features in the product roadmap

• Technologies used: Java, Javascript, Handlebars, Maven, MySQL

• Multiple software projects completed on Upwork, the largest online workplace for freelancers

• Client engagements involved understanding requirements, defining technical specifications, and implementing solutions

Jan 2018 to Present
Netskope – Software Engineer

• Created internal data warehouse to store aggregated production data for business analytics

• Automated data fetch between production cluster and data warehouse by designing APIs, creating security rules, removing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and aggregating data

• Implemented single sign-on through LDAP/AD integration in Redash and submitted modifications back to open source project (merged in PR #1836)

• Fixed data corruption issues in production databases and deleted orphaned chunks in MongoDB
